August 1, 2016, Edmonds Underwater Park, also known as Bracketts Landing North, is re-opened to swimming and water contact recreation. Recent water sampling showed that bacteria levels were low and safe for swimming.Contact with fecal contaminated waters can result in gastroenteritis, skin rashes, upper respiratory infections, and other illnesses. Children and the elderly may be more vulnerable to waterborne illnesses.
