Today, June 28, 2013, Mason County Public Health issued a swimming advisory at Potlatch State Park. The advisory is issued because of elevated bacteria levels in marine water.Contact with fecal contaminated waters can result in gastroenteritis, skin rashes, upper respiratory infections, and other illnesses. Children and the elderly may be more vulnerable to waterborne illnesses.
